GrowEdu Learning Lab Field Trip
GrowEdu Learning Lab Field Trip
Step inside the GrowEdu Learning Lab for a hands-on field trip where hydroponics becomes a doorway to science, technology, careers, and real-world problem solving.
Students and families explore how plants can grow without soil and investigate the systems that make indoor farming possible. Along the way, participants connect what they observe to real-world questions about food access, water conservation, sustainability, engineering, and the future of work.
Participants will:
- Explore the science behind hydroponic growing systems
- Make connections between plant growth and real-world phenomena
- Practice observation, critical thinking, and problem solving
- Discover careers connected to agriculture, science, technology, engineering, business, and sustainability
- See how communities can use new growing methods to address food and environmental challenges
This experience is designed for school groups, families, homeschool groups, youth organizations, and community groups. Activities and discussions are adjusted to support the age and learning level of each group.
Admission: $20 per student or attendee.
